On Friday I had to call an ambulance to come get my mom. When I got to the hospital I had to decide whether or not to put her on a ventilator. She is still on it, but hopefully getting winged off. So please pray for her and my family.

I will do for sure do so. This is so horrible and I'm truly sorry for your situation. Very heartbreaking, but I hope everything works out for the best. Your family is in my prayers.
I will be praying also, Laura. I know my husband, who has had a lung condition for years, had to be put on a ventilator a couple of years ago. It was very frightening. But, they were able to get him off of after three days. I've seen God move lots of mountains lately. I'll be praying!
I'm sorry to hear that is happening to your family. I have had many things happen like this in my family, but I could not inmagine it being my mom. I will also keep her and your family in my prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. She is still on the vent, but hopefully will be off by Thursday. She is swelling which is a set back, but we have been praying and hope it will all be okay.
