Shooting at Western College
I was at the bank earlier and over heard a mother terribly upset because her son goes to Western college. She said they are in under a lock down because of a shooter. Students recieved a text message in to regards of the shooter and another one was sent saying shots have been fired. My prayers go out to those at Western.

I have a friend that sent a text to us saying she was locked in her classroom, but she was okay. I agree that we all need to keep everyone at western and their families in our prayers.
I heard this in the lunch room the day that it happened and I couldnt believe it!! Shots fired on a campus so close to us, it is so scary!!! We definately need to keep them in our prayers, I cannot imagine being in their position!
This topic is very scary and eye opening. This type of thing could happen anywhere, including at Eastern. By the grace of God I pray it never happen here or anywhere else again for that matter. I will be keeping Western and all the faculty, staff, and students in my prayers.
This really scared me! I hope everyone is alright i know i wouldnt be if i went to western.

Prayer for those at Western is greatly need.
Eastern needs the prayers as well. I think it was last week or the week before someone was setting fires all over campus in various buildings? We need to be conscientious about what’s going on around us and be emphatic for our fellow classmates. You never really know what is going on in the lives of people we see (or do not see) talk to or ignore everyday. People are so busy sometimes we do not recognize when someone is hurting or just needing a friendly smile.
I know when I mention Virginia Tech to some people, they don't know what to think or they just tell me that they have no connection to VT and can't empathize with the school or me. THIS MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH whenever someone says this to me. Being a college student, how can you not imagine what it must be like. The VT shootings were something very significant in my life. I had many fiends on that campus the day the shooter attacked. April 16 will be a day that I will never forget.
I am glad that people are praying for Western and I am glad that I had the opportunity to comment on this post. It really means a lot to me.
I'm just so thankful that it all turned out okay and no one was seriously injured. We should pray for people at all schools given that this can happen anywhere.
