Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (Non-teaching)
Okay, so I have done some research on different majors and I think that Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education non-teaching is for me. My previous major was LBD with an emphasis in elem. ed. and i was dreading teaching rather than getting excited about it. Like I said before I wanted to go more toward the health aspect of special education without having to be in school for a long time. The research that I did said that with this major I could work in hospitals or rehabilitation facilities and that is exactly what I wanted to do. Also, I am working with children birth-5, I love babies and toddlers so I am so excited about my major now!!!!

Good for you Tarah,
I am a strong believer that in order to do a good job, no matter what it is, you need to enjoy what you do.
Elana :)
I am glad that you found a major that is right for you! I know from experience how good it feels to finally feel like you're in the right field. It took me over a year to declare a major, and when I did, it seemed like it should have been so obvious because it was right there under my nose the whole time!
