Language Analysis Project

I was just wondering where everyone was at on their language projects? I was suppose to be able to work with a child this weekend and record my "sample" but plans fell through with the parent so I've honestly yet to begin. Im hoping plan B with another child will work out for me and I can get my sample sometime before the end of this week since the semester is quickly coming to an end. The point of this blog though was to ask if anyone happened to be further into their project than I am? Im nervous about spending so much time on this and then not fully understanding the directions. I was hoping that someone who wouldn't mind would let me just look at thier's for an example to go by.

I would highly recommend calling or emailing Mrs. White. She says she is more than willing to help us in anyway.

I know where you are coming from, I am in the process of transcribing my project and I don't think I have enough conversation to go with. I think I am going to get in touch with Mrs. White. She seems more than willing to help us.

You're both right! I am. I'll help however I am able.

I'd suggest anyone who has any concerns to call me. Each situation will need to be addressed indiviually.

Hey! This project has been a little overwhelming, not because its extreamely difficult but time consuming. I am almost finished and I wouldn't mind to let you look at mine if it will help. I did my project using analysis of form... Just let me know. My e-mail is katherine_watt1@eku.edu

I too am at at point that I have questions. I had planned to be done with mine by now (as I'm sure everybody did) but there is just so much to do in so little time. I hope I feel better about the LAP after asking a few more questions tomorrow night.

I feel like my conversation is somewhat limited also. I did mine on a 2-2 1/2 year old, so when I look at it from that point of view I think wow she is actually doing good. So, I don't know if it is just that I think it should have more because we are use to looking at "books and Reports" that contain more depth. I hope that is the case because I had a hard time finding a child.
