I am trying to figure out how these reports are supposed to be configured. Are they supposed to be like a paper or just a non-formal piece about the class we observed...Can anyone give me some pointers?
Have you gone to the Assignments section of Blackboard to the Observation section? There is a sheet there with information, the questions you are to ask the teacher and a rubric that specifically outlines how the paper will be evaluated.
If I were a student I would use the rubric to help me structure what I would write up to turn in for my observation.
If you have reviewed this, please let me know what questions you have about it.
Hello, I think the main thing is to give a good description of the classroom setting, record how the teacher uses language in their classroom and how it relates to the content we have learned in class. I'm not sure though how to put the interview into to report.
The MAIN thing is to make sure you use the rubric, include exactly what it details for you to include.
When you do this you will see that the most important thing is that you show connections between what you observed and WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS COURSE.
The purpose of doing the observation is to see how what you are learning in this course is applied in the "real world." Your report should demonstrate that you are able to do that - connect the class content to what you observed.
